Four steps, and the whole thing usually completes in 5 to 7 days.
- At your current registrar, unlock the domain and turn off WHOIS privacy.
- Request the EPP or authorisation code. It is normally emailed to the registrant address on file.
- At Flashnests, go to Domains, then Transfer, enter the domain and the EPP code, and pay.
- Approve the confirmation email sent to the registrant address.
A transfer adds a year to the existing expiry date, so you do not lose time you have already paid for.
One rule catches people out: a domain registered or transferred within the last 60 days cannot be transferred again. That is a registry restriction rather than ours, and there is no way around it.
