In cPanel go to Email Accounts, then Create. Enter the address, set a strong password and choose a mailbox quota.
Reach it at webmail.yourdomain.com, or set up a mail client with these settings:
- IMAP - server mail.yourdomain.com, port 993, SSL/TLS
- POP3 - server mail.yourdomain.com, port 995, SSL/TLS
- SMTP - server mail.yourdomain.com, port 465, SSL/TLS, authentication required
Prefer IMAP unless you have a reason not to. It keeps mail on the server, so every device sees the same mailbox.
