Your welcome email contains your cPanel URL, username and temporary password, plus your server's IP and nameservers. Do these four things in order.
- Sign in to cPanel using the link in your welcome email and change the temporary password straight away.
- Point your domain. If you registered it with Flashnests this is already done. If it is elsewhere, set its nameservers to ns1.flashnests.com and ns2.flashnests.com at your current registrar.
- Wait for propagation. Usually 15 minutes to 4 hours, occasionally up to 24. Until it finishes, reach your site using the temporary URL in your welcome email.
- Install your site. Use Softaculous for WordPress and similar applications, or upload files with File Manager or FTP.
Once your domain resolves, add an SSL certificate: cPanel → SSL/TLS Status → Run AutoSSL. It is free on every plan and renews automatically.
