What is refundable: the hosting fee on shared and reseller plans, within thirty days of the first order.
What is not:
- Domain registrations. Once a domain is registered, the fee is paid to the registry and cannot be recovered. The domain remains yours for the full term and you can transfer it away freely.
- Dedicated servers and colocation, because the hardware is allocated specifically to you.
- Third-party licences - control panels, commercial SSL, and similar - once issued.
- Renewals. The guarantee covers your first term, not subsequent ones.
The guarantee does not apply to accounts terminated for violating the acceptable use policy.
Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within five to ten business days, depending on your bank rather than on us.
If something is not working, please talk to us before requesting a refund. A large share of cancellations in this industry are for problems that take ten minutes to fix.
